With almost nothing to build from, the site and its full design system were created from the ground up in WordPress, Bricks, and ACSS. The result is a trendy, playful identity carried by custom JavaScript micro-interactions. Small moments of motion throughout the site that keep it feeling alive.

CommandUI is a command palette that lets you move through WordPress without ever touching a menu. The front-end site was designed and built in Bricks and ACSS, alongside a full redesign of the palette interface itself. It pushed gradients, custom buttons, borders, and layered box shadows further than usual, creating inset surfaces on a grained background that give the product real depth.
Web Design
Etch needed to feel like the new name in the space, capable of standing up against builders that had been around for years. This initial engagement scoped the design language the product would grow into, delivered as Figma designs and a complete design system. Gradient and line elements give it a modern, expensive feel, while the hero leads with what you can actually build with the tool.
